New life for 3.2 million PET bottles

Meet the DICOTA experts in hall 17, booth 203 and explore the latest product developments. Our focus this year lies on the recently launched Eco assortment made of recycled PET. Already in 2011 we have discovered the benefits of recycling plastics for textile production – this material protects the environment without compromising on quality, look and feel. In the past 8 years DICOTA has continuously extended the use of environmental friendly material alternatives and while doing so we have been able to purposefully reuse over 3.2 million PET bottles.

DICOTA PET recycling

Consistent recycling helps to conserve resources: compared to new polyester production, energy consumption and CO2 emissions are each reduced by more than half. With our two new product families SELECT and SCALE we set new standards in combining sustainable materials with outstanding functionality and timeless design. The Eco range includes notebook bags, trolleys, backpacks and travel accessories. Each product gives a new life to 6-16 PET bottles, depending on the model.

But there are even more product novelties to discover. The IT industry is probably more interlinked than any other sector as IFA in Berlin will show once again. At DICOTA we feel the pulse of the market and have observed a steadily evolving design of notebooks over the last years. The devices become lighter, thinner and more agile. However, most trendsetters no longer offer enough USB ports to connect all peripheral devices. With our new range of practical USB-C docking stations we offer a multifaceted solution to this problem – tailored to the manifold user needs.
