Work safely with high visibility backpacks

Work safely with high visibility backpacks

There is no compromise when it comes to occupational safety. Good, accidents can be prevented with professional equipment. For example, with the high visibility backpacks from DICOTA, which can be used as a supplement to workwear in accordance with EN ISO 20471:2013.

Good visibility is unavoidable

High-visibility workwear contributes to the safety and visibility of workers during the working day and on the way to work. It reduces the risk of accidents and helps to avoid potentially dangerous situations.

During the working day, workers can be exposed to various hazards and risks, especially in working environments with traffic, machinery or other potentially dangerous elements. High-visibility workwear makes it easy to see people in low-light or low-visibility environments. This reduces the risk of accidents due to collisions or misjudgement and increases the safety of everyone involved.

But workers are also exposed to potential hazards on their way to work. Wearing high-visibility work clothing makes them more visible to drivers, cyclists and other road users. This is especially important in the morning and evening when it is still dark or visibility is poor. Commuters dressed in dark clothing can only be recognised at a distance of 25 metres; with reflective elements, visibility increases to 140 metres. The increased visibility helps to reduce the risk of accidents and ensure the safety of employees on their way to work.
