Personal data are collected if you voluntarily provide us with this information to execute an agreement or to open a customer account. Which data are collected can be seen in the respective input forms. You may request your customer account to be deleted at any time by sending a message to the contact described below. These data are stored and used exclusively for responding to your concerns and/or for contacting you and the associated technical administration. Once your query has been processed in full your data are deleted, if you request them to be deleted and the deletion is not subject to statutory retention obligations.

You can unsubscribe to our newsletter at any time via the link provided in the newsletter or by sending us a message to that effect. Once you have unsubscribed, your email address will be deleted immediately from our newsletter distribution list.

For our own advertising purposes, we reserve the right to store your first name and last name, postal address and – if we have received this additional information from you in the context of the contractual agreement – your title, academic degree, year of birth and your occupational, industry or business designation in summarised lists and to use them for sending interesting offers and information about our products by means of letter mail. You can object to the storage and use of your data for this purpose at any time by sending a message to the contact described below.

2.1 The personal data collected by us are passed on to the transport company engaged by us for the delivery, provided that delivery is required for the goods. When processing your payments, we pass your payment data to the bank engaged by us.

2.2 When making payment via PayPal, credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal or – if offered – “purchase on account” via PayPal, we will pass your payment data to PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (hereinafter referred to as "PayPal”) when processing the payment. PayPal reserves the right to do a credit check for the payment methods, credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal or – if offered – “purchase on account” via PayPal. PayPal uses the result of the credit check to determine the statistical probability of payment default for the purposes of deciding whether to provide a particular payment method. The credit check may include probability scores (credit scores). Where credit scores are included in the result of the credit check, these are based on a scientifically recognised mathematical-statistical process. Among other things, address information is included in the calculation of the credit score. Further information under data privacy law, including the credit bureaus used, can be found in PayPal’s data privacy notice: https://www.paypal.com/ee/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full

I give my consent for my email address to be passed on to DHL (Deutsche Post AG, Charles-de-Gaulle-Straße 20, 53113 Bonn, Germany) so that DHL may contact me by email prior to delivery of the goods for the purposes of agreeing a delivery date and/or sending notifications regarding the delivery status. I can withdraw my consent in this regard at any time.”

Otherwise, we will provide only the name of the recipient and the delivery address to DHL. In this case, prior agreement of the delivery date with DHL and/or the provision of status information regarding the delivery is not possible.

This website uses the YouTube embedding function to display and play back videos by the provider “Youtube”. This process employs the extended data protection mode that, according to information provided by the provider, initiates the storage of user information only when the video/s is/are played back. If the playback of embedded YouTube videos is started, the provider “YouTube” places cookies to collect information about user behaviour. According to information provided by “Youtube”, this information is used to inter-alia record video statistics, improve user friendliness and prevent misuse. Irrespective of whether an embedded video is played back, every retrieval of this website initiates a connection to the Google network “DoubleClick”, which can trigger further data processing processes beyond our control.

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, which are text files stored on your computer that enable an analysis of how you use the website. The information regarding your use of this website generated by the cookie is generally transferred to a Google server in the United States and stored there.

If IP anonymisation is activated on this website, however, your IP address will be truncated by Google before being transmitted within member states of the European Union or in other countries which are parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Full IP addresses are transmitted to a Google server in the US and truncated there only in exceptional cases. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activities, and provide other services related to the use of the website and the Internet to the website operator.

The IP address provided by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not combined with other data of Google. You may prevent the storage of cookies by changing a relevant setting in your browser software. We wish to point out that this website uses Google Analytics with the extension “anonymizeIp()” function and that IP addresses are therefore only processed further in a truncated form to prevent them from being directly linked to a particular individual.

This website uses retargeting technology of Google Inc. (“Google”). This enables us to address users of our website that are already interested in our shop and our products in a targeted way with personalised advertising relevant to their interests. Advertising material is faded in by means of a cookie-based analysis of previous usage behaviour; however, no personal data are stored. In the cases of retargeting technology, a cookie is placed on your computer or mobile end device in order to record anonymised data regarding your interests and, in this way, match the advertising individually to the stored information. These cookies are small text files stored on your computer or mobile end device. This will enable advertising to be shown that, with a high level of probability, is in line with your product and information interests. You can object to cookies for ad preferences being placed permanently by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link:

On this website, we also use the reCAPTCHA function of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). The main purpose of this function is to differentiate whether an entry is being made by a natural person or if misuse by machine and automated processing is taking place. The service includes sending the IP address and, if applicable, other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service to Google. Further information on Google's reCAPTCHA and Google’s data privacy policy can be viewed at: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

On our website, we also use Google Maps (API) of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Maps is a web service for visually presenting geographical information on interactive (topographic) maps.

While retrieving the subpages integrated in the maps provided by Google Maps, information about your use of our website (e.g. your IP address) is sent to Google's servers in the United States and stored there. Google will also transmit this information to third parties, where applicable, to the extent prescribed by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google.

Google will not associate your IP address with other data of Google. Nevertheless, it would be technically possible for Google to use the user data received by Google Maps to identify users, to prepare personality profiles of users therefrom, and to process and use them for third-party purposes, over which we have and can have no control.

Google’s Terms of Use can be found at https://www.google.com/policies/terms/; the additional Terms of Use for Google Maps can be found at https://developers.google.com/maps/terms. Detailed information on data privacy in connection with the use of Google Maps can be found on Google's website (“Google Privacy Policy”): https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

If you do not agree to the future transmission of your data to Google in the context of the use of Google Maps, you have the option of fully deactivating the Google Maps web service by deactivating the JavaScript application in your browser. Google Maps and thus also the display of maps on this website will then not be able to be used.

You have a right to information regarding your stored data and, if applicable, a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data free of charge.
